In an appeal, the party who has prevailed at the trial court level often has a decided advantage. Therefore, our appellate lawyers are frequently involved at the early stages of litigation, working with our trial lawyers to effectively brief and argue pre-trial motions. In other circumstances, we are called upon to pursue or defend an appeal after another law firm has handled a case before the trial court.
