In recognition of our long-standing relationships with our clients, colleagues, and other partners in the community and throughout the world, Martin Pringle has granted a wish through Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. It is our pleasure to introduce you to Laila.

Laila is a 9-year-old girl who was born with a nervous system disorder called Chiari Malformation. It's a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal and occurs when
part of the skull is abnormally small or misshapen, pressing on the brain and forcing it downward. Laila has had two brain surgeries before age 7 and will likely need more as she grows.

Laila has such a fun personality; she's an old soul. She tends to be very shy, but once she gets to know you, she will put a smile on your face. Laila's one true wish is to go to Hawaii and visit the Dole Pineapple Plantation. She loves pineapple! She has a pineapple backpack, pineapple room decorations, pineapple water bottle and she is always drawing pineapple pictures! While Laila has done a lot of traveling for doctor's appointments or surgeries, this trip will actually be a true vacation!
