Meet Gabby
Gabby Altenor grew up knowing she wanted to be a physician. A second-generation Haitian, the importance of community was something Gabby was raised knowing would be one of the virtues she would carry throughout her life. While finalizing her third semester in pre-med at Newman University, an honors program career day panel including an attorney derailed her plans for a career in medicine and helped her realize her skill set better aligned with a career in law. This decision has allowed Gabby to be front and center in her community, working with and on behalf of the Miss Kansas Organization while serving as Miss Wichita, and focusing her time and talent on mentorship, while completing her third year of law school in Washburn University School of Law’s Third Year Anywhere® program. Through this program, Gabby worked at Martin Pringle as a law clerk to gain hands-on experiences preparing her for life as a lawyer, while also serving her community. Gabby focuses her practice on civil & commercial litigation involving business disputes, construction law, medical malpractice defense and criminal law.
